What this site collects, which is little, and who is responsible for it.
What this page covers
This page covers probity.work, the site that describes Probity. It covers this site and nothing else.
Probity is a product of Ambitious Machines, Inc., a Delaware corporation. It is not a separate company. “We” on this page means Ambitious Machines, Inc.
What this site collects
There is no account to create, no form to fill in and no newsletter. The site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. The typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font service.
It does load two measurement tools: the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland) and Google Analytics (Google Ireland). They record the pages you view, clicks on the email links on this site, Book a walkthrough among them, and data about your device and browser. Meta and Google set their own cookies to do it. We use them to count visits and to build advertising audiences for Probity and the other products of Ambitious Machines, Inc. To object, write to the address under Contact.
It also sends the same page views and email link clicks to PostHog (PostHog, Inc., United States), which we use to see which pages are read and how long a visit lasts. PostHog sets no cookie, stores nothing in your browser and does not record your screen. It receives your IP address and browser details with each request, and uses the address to estimate a rough location.
What the host records
The site is a set of static files served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare records each request: the IP address it came from, the time, the page asked for and the browser’s user agent. That exists to deliver the page and to defend it against abuse.
We do not join those records to anything else and do not use them to build a profile of a visitor.
What we do not do
We do not sell information about you, and we make no automated decisions about anyone. The Meta Pixel lets Meta recognise a visit here when it builds advertising audiences, as described above. Beyond that we build no profile of a visitor, and PostHog keeps no profile of you either.
Your rights under the GDPR
You may ask for a copy of personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is used, ask for its use to be restricted, and complain to your data protection authority. The site itself holds nothing about you. What the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics and PostHog record sits with Meta, Google and PostHog, and we will help with a request about it.

Changes
This page carries the date it took effect, at the top. If what the site does changes, this page changes with it and the date moves. There is no archive of earlier versions, because there has not been an earlier version.
